I started my small collection of Buck blades with a Vantage Select. Then I got an Avid model that was bad, and then another. I brought this to the Buck forum here, and Jeff Hubbard was monitoring the thread. He sent me a hand picked Avid on Buck's dime.

What this did was show me how committed Buck is to making it right. I promised to only buy Buck this year. I proceeded to get a 110, and was in awe of how amazing it was. Then I moved to the Paklite Large Skinner. Again flawless. Buck Marksman was next, and it was so good I bought a backup. I still want a Vanguard, and another 110 by the end of this year.

This year money has been an issue, with a new child (3rd) and work I have been having to focus my purchases. With the value that Buck had, I kept increasing my collection this year, promising to only get Buck for the year. Pocket time over the weeks more and more have a Buck knife in my pocket. I understand the Buck family, I was adopted.

And it's all thanks to Jeff. I owe a great debt of gratitude as I don't think I would have continued to get Buck blades had it not been for his amazing customer service.

So Jeff, this is for you, I thank you, and appreciate you very much:

I was rather disappointed in a buck 110alaskan guide from cabelas and MR.Hubbard sent me a hand picked at 110 that had fit and fininsh as good as any custom knife I've ever owned.Buck is not only a brand,it's their name on these knives they are selling, and I do believe the employees at Buck will do anything to make their customers happy.I Have been on a buck knife buying spree lately ,the wife says I need a break, right after I get to meet Chuck Buck,I might take a break .lol

Jeff is a great guy! I took the normal plant tour a few years ago. Jeff found me and gave Cindy and me a personal tour of the front offices and engineering department.

Quite a great bunch of people there!

Leave no doubt ladies & gentlemen, they mean business.....and stand by their knives. Nice! how cool was that! Lucky Dog.... to Jeff Hubbard too for taking action.

Nope…I am back home in Florida now. I was out in your neck of the woods about two weeks ago though.
There was still snow and frozen lakes where I was. :)
