I recently won JTB_5's giveaway and was finally able to get daylight pictures of the Ankermesser. I have always wanted an Ankermesser and this one did not disappoint.

It has good snap and most importantly for me, a good blade grind with a thin edge. It has performed well on apples this week. Thanks again, Joshua!

Alright! Your picture sure makes it look better than mine did. I'm glad you like it. When I bought it I wondered if the wood would change at all after time, but then I never carried enough to give it any of the oils and rubbing from my hands. Thanks for sharing the picture and the thanks! I'm glad I could join in on the generosity of the porch!

Did not know they were available in SS,have an older one in carbon steel, cuts like a laser.
