Thank You. I truly appreciate those who bring such endlessly fascinaing tools within my reach. There are all kinds and conditions of knife makers out there, just as there are in other fields and professions. What I appreciate most is that there are those who use their practiced hands and eyes to create and feed one of my favorite pastimes. Even though most knives are made on a production basis, many of those are designed or inspired by custom makers. I also thank the cutlers who show up to work each day to bring us the hundreds of fine production knives showing skill and dedication in their work. When I look at a knife I try to envision the thought, design, and skills that it took to create so it adds yet another dimension to my hobby.
On Father's Day, when we take a moment to thank those who have lead the way for so many of us, it just seems appropriate to say Thank You. Pay little heed to the comments that offer no constructive observations and realize that it is way too easy for someone to describe what thay believe is wrong rather than explain what they see is right. Best Regards, ss.
