I want to take time to thank my friend Lycosa for this wonderful and unexpected gift I recieved from him.
I actually got this the other day and am just now getting round to talking about it.
Rolf, this is right up my alley and I so much appreciate the gesture that I wanted to thank you for this privately and publically. As you know I do love a Wharncliffe blade and any modified Wharny blades too for that matter. These knives by Boker flew below my radar until I saw that orange one you asked me to look over.
I must say for the money these are some very nice Taiwan made small frame lock folders. The AUS8 steel sits quite well with me also; as I favor that steel over others such as 154CM or ATS34 so its again right up my alley for a good lightweight tough blade user. The 2.75" blade makes it a nice sheeple friendly size also.
Anyway, thank you so much for this. The Micarta sheet you also gave me was also unexpected and needed too!
I hope this knife is one of a couple more I get for Christmas this year. We'll see though. My wife has trouble buying me knives since I'm so picky and she isn't but when I get one from another knife nut its always appreciated because its usually a nice one I like too. This is no exception. I like this little folder a lot.
