Hi guys & gals!
About one week or so ago, I recieved a package from our fellow forum member Paul from Scotland. I made a trade with him at the beginning of the month. He recently became father of that wonderful boy Rory.
My deepest congratulations to you and your family from the deep german south, my friend.
I recieved a package that contained two great looking knives and a very nicely and kind handwritten postcard, even in german langauge
Each of the knives I recieved was of great tradition and I actually always wanted one of these. I didn´t tell him about the patterns, though. Nonverbal communication between knife nuts, I suppose.
First was a British Army Knife with a sheepfoot blade and a canopener, made in Sheffield. I like that vintage military related pocket knives - useful and extremely stron construction.

The second knife was a long sought after pattern by myself, a japanese Higonokami. I always like the idea of a friction folder in an all-metal-construction and I love that bladeshape. (reverse tanto, don´t you think?)

Here is the nice handwritten christmas card and the knives content ....

1000 thanks Paul and A Merry Christmas to everyone.
