Thanks to the "Janitor"

Well gents, I have just bought my first Busse blades from the exchange. I scored on a couple of LE Battle Mistresses, one is completely sterile and the other has a logo but no number.

The seller mentioned a very slight unevenness (to the picky eye) to the false grind on one but assured me Busse would take care of it if it bothered me.

I wanted to talk to Busse customer service just to make sure all was kosher and find out the turn around time may be if I needed a fix. Here's where my adventure began...

The gentleman who answered the phone said Customer Service had left for the day, but he was the "Janitor" and might be able to help. "Who am I speaking to?" I ask. "This this is Jerry," came they reply. "I sweep the place up and occasionally drink with the owner, and I know a few things." Needless to say I was onto the charade, and had a great conversation with the funniest "janitor" I ever had the pleasure to speak to.

So this is a long way of saying THANK YOU!! to Jerry for the warm welcome to the Busse club and the much needed laughs, and I will definitely be taking you up on that dinner one of these days;)

Hell of a way to start your time with Busse. A couple of BMLE's and a talk to the 'Janitor' nice.
 
So you called after 5pm....

I have told "The Janitor" not to answer the phone:eek::eek:

The Janitor is in trouble:D:D

When I called the other day the Janitor answered and I said I needed to talk to someone that could help so please put Amy on ;):foot:

Thats our boy!! And we love him!!:D:D:D

On my first call I got the Janitor and almost brushed him off - but settled for what I could get. I finally caught on - it took a bit, and we had an excellent discussion. I mean this Janitor guy said he got to drink with the Boss!! Truly made a lasting impression on me - that Jerry would make time to talk with a little piglet like me :thumbup:

Regardless with whom you speak the customer service is truly second to none. I use them as my standard when I am working with customers - and its a mean standard for sure! Everyone at the Busse Shop has your satisfaction at the top of their list and its one reason I keep coming back.

They do make you feel like an old friend calling in to chat - and I feel bad about the amount of their time I take - but that is how they do business and it is always a pleasurable experience. :)

LOL, I was reading the story thinking...'Jerry is going to get in trouble, again' :rolleyes:

When I called and he answered, I didn't tell an :foot:
 
I do not, for the life of me, know what's up with that janitor!!!!. . . He's always drunk and he isn't supposed to be answering the phones!!!. . . He's in big trouble now!!!. . . I'm going to have to punish his liver!!!! :D
