Hello All:

I just got back from a trip to Seattle with Bruce Bump. We had the priveledge of visiting Tom Ferry's shop for a couple of days. Talk about brain overload. I, being a newbie, got to learn so much incredible information, that it will take quite some time to put it to good use.

Watching Tom and Bruce work was worth the trip. The things they can create with steel is quite incredible.

Got to try out the KMG grinder also. Know what I'm gonna buy as soon as the taxes get back.

Tom, Thanks again. I had a great time and learned a great deal. I'm glad there are individuals out there like you who are willing to share so freely.

It was a perfect trip. I learned allot also from Tom. That guy can make damascus better and faster than anyone Ive seen. I need to make a vertical forge now.

I saw the Frink KMG for the first time and used it for quite awhile grinding on my MS dagger. The 8" long flat platen is a real bonus. It makes steel very flat. The grinder is over-built, very heavy and doesnt move when you lean into it hard. Now I want one too.

Thanks Tom for the great time and the new tricks.
