Hi guys,

So after a manic week with a few technical glitches thrown in I can finally show my appreciation for a gift, or should I say gifts, given to me by an awesome member of this wonderful forum.

You may have read my post on the tinker I so foolishly let get stolen a month or so back. Wolf man was kind enough to offer up a SAK he said he had resting in a drawer somewheres that he reckoned I'd have use for. I was delighted at the offer and agreed.

Well, little did I know when the package arrived that there would be more than just the one knife in there, in fact, there were seven! And three 1930's 5c pieces!

Unfortunately my photobucket account has frozen me out so until I can get it open I can't upload photos of the hoard he sent me, rest assured I will post them when they become available, gotta love technology.

Anyways a long-winded but sincere thankyou to Wolf Man who suffered through the long sand drawn out postal system to hear my thanks. A true gentleman!

Cheers
Sam

Great stuff! :) A very generous gesture. Look forward to seeing your pics Sam

Here are the photos I managed to take, there's a no name version of the vic classic, an imperial scout knife, a USA Classic in faux pearl with a MOP shield and beautiful brass bolsters (my second favourite) a rough rider canoe in some form of jigged plastic with jigged bolsters, sharp as a razor! Then there's the blue victorinox, I think it's a pioneer or huntsman, and it came in a beautiful tooled leather pouch! I'll say it again, wolf man is a legend.

That this is an amazing forum, is explained by the fact that it is made up of some amazing people. And they all come together in this one place, makes it a very special place on the 'net!

Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.
