Thanks to Willworship for running his contest for the BK14 micarta scales (modified ESEE Izula scales) that I won last week. I love the BK14, it is my EDC knife. I also convexed the edge a while ago, and used to have the handle cord wrapped. I'm digging these scales! They have a nice feel, though it is a bit narrower than the thick paracord wrap I had on previously. This is an upgrade for sure. I promised to get pics up, and here they are. Sorry for the delay in getting this posted.... I didn't have a 3/32" allen wrench to tighten the scales and had to pick them up.

Here's a closeup of the scales, resting on top of the new strop I just made today:

Of course you can also see little pieces of leather from the new strop I made today.... LOL. Clearly I have to break in the leather here. I might need to pick up a different piece of leather; this is my first strop and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.
