A few days ago I posted a thread looking for some specs on the 2 big Beckers and you guys convinced me to get a 9 and it just came in today and boy am I happy with that decision. I was going to mod it to 6 inches but holding it in my hand makes me want to keep it at 9. I think I'm just going to reprofile the tip to make it more of a traditional bowie clip, take off the ramp and ad a finger choil, strip it and call it done. Pictures to come, let the mods begin.

that sounds like a good plan, but do yourself a favor and use it to carve on some wood before you add the finger choil.

That's a good idea, why would change something I have not even tried out yet

The 9 is a surprisingly well balanced knife for its size. Its one of my favorites .

Love the 9. Good choice. I love doing mods too but highly recommend using it a bit first!
