As a new member, I wanted to say thanks to the participants and ownership for the collective wisdom shared on this forum. I've already learned alot about what to look for in sharp objects in terms of quality, how to judge sharpness, etc. and look forward to learning much more. Based on the wisdom shared by members of the group here are some of the winners I've personally enjoyed playing with so far: a Granfors Bruks axe, Marbles Sport and Plainsman knives and a #9 axe, a Randall Model 26, a Spyderco Wegner and the sharpest knife I've ever held, a Spyderco Moran. To me, each of these products is great and without the Forum, I would never have been able to pick such great products. It would have been a hit or miss proposition with some sure losers in the mix. Thanks again.

Welcome to the forums if you read alot of the things people say to first timers it is usually all the samer but we all mean it..

So I hope you learn alot about knives here..

I've already got the itch for a custom or two or three... I just haven't scratched the itch yet though I've been coveting a number of great looking knives including your large hunter!
