I've been lurking on this list since around June of '04. I found out about Chris Reeve knives after buying my Arc 4+ flashlight. I studied many posts, and read many opinions on all things Chris Reeve. I went to purchase my knife in Aug. of '04 and when it was ready, an emergency came up and I had to wait until Dec. to get my knife. Well, I finally got it, a small classic Sebenza with silver thumblug and spacer, it's everything I want in a knife. I'd like to thank all the regulars who post here for your opinions and facts on knives, they have helped me a lot. I've already got my eye on a Mnandi, I want to use Redwood from Humboldt County, my neck of the woods.
 
wow, that wood would be nice on it. I use to live in Ashland and they had a lot of things for sale made with it. If you ever do it be sure to post pics. :eek:
 
You are definitely headed in the right direction if you are considering getting an Mnandi. It is the ultimate "Gent's" knife in the world, IMHO and will probably be the only knife I collect and/or carry from here on out. ;)
