Well fellers,
Down to just a few more hours of internet access...
I wanted to step in to offer my respect and gratitude to the group as a whole...
And to few select individuals who have shaped my life...
Thanks to you all for being here...to answer questions...talk shite...and share the long days...
Each of your opinions and thoughts helped to make the struggle a little easier...
Darrel Ralph...who is a top notch guy...who taught me that integrity is not about what you know...but who you are...
Bill Burke...another top hand...whose patinece and sens of humor helped me weather the storm...
To Rick Baum...who was also a fellow Texaco TYpe "A" pusher...who is rarely seen or heard in these parts...thanks for helping me to stay sane...mostly...
To Eldon Perkins...and Butch Deveraux...I extend my heartfelt wishes...best of luck gents...
My great thanks to all the folks who got some Type "A" qunech oil...in the end I lost my arse...but met a lot of great folks...
To the ABS..for helping me to learn the hardest lesson of all....
And finally to Ed Fowler...who allowed me to use his shop...when mine was not adequate...and for the hours of his time...and knowledge that he shared...
I still make a knife now and again...just for me...or mine...and they are good ones too...and for that I am truly grateful to everybody who helped make them so...
