Some of the other VbUlletin forums I am on utilize the "thank" feature
Below the thread there is a section where it list people who "thanked" the poster
And you can search by:

• Total Thanks: 56
• Thanked 68 Times in 32 Posts
• Find all thanked posts by Trent Rock
• Find all posts thanked by Trent Rock

Any plans on adding it to BF?

Sometimes I have this urge to hit a "like" or "thanks" button when I read a post I like
I blame it on FaceBook!!

I'm not sure how the thank feature could be abused?
Maybe thank spamming???

The line just above the post has a button to Rate This Thread. It was on the old vBulletin, too, but rarely did anyone notice or use it.

that is a different feature esav. that just rates the thread and not the poster.

It's just as much a bullshit feature as the other would be. Just participate in the threads without analyzing them.

Remember the green and red chicklets? People ran their counts up by having friends rate them. They quickly lost all meaning.
