Who is planning to use their Busse's this Holiday weekend? I have in-laws and their kids from out of state staying at my house currently, and they are already starting to drive me a bit nuts. They take my spot on the couch and insist on watching garbage television... but I digress. They leave Friday evening and I plan on blowing off some steam by chopping up some wood on Saturday. Anybody else in a similar boat? I just received a couple new blades this morning as well which I'm itching to use. I have wanted a 1311 for a long time and just picked one up off the exchange. Also, I'm looking forward to seeing how my new Sasquatch will compare to my NMFBM and MOAB.

EDIT: Because people were asking for Sasquatch specs, it has a 13" blade, weighs 2 lbs 4 oz, and is 0.296" thick according to my calipers.

Interestingly, the Keffeler has dimples that look pretty similar to INFI dimples.

Oh man. Manmanman. You've got all the cool toys. I expect a thread comparing the big guns. That Sasquatch is a beast. I've wanted one for quite some time. More knives should come with fullers.

∆3v no less. THAT is awesome.

Holy Keffler!!! That thing is a BEAST, I always say, you have great taste my friend

JEESUZ....have you weighed that Keffeler? That thing has to be 4 lbs.

That Keffeler is sexy as hell!!

Congrats!!!!

Cat, jealous, one each!

As to answer your question. I had planned on a contest between a hatchet, a khuk and my custom ASHBM. The ASHBM being the lightest. The other two should be better choppers. But you never know until you try. I have reground all the edges to cut better.

MAN!!! The buzz of receiving those blade's should be so good you don't even notice there's people around . 😎

Glad the 1311 arrived safely. Nice Sasquatch! Going to order one myself in the new year. Just got a bit of saving to do.

IIRC, the Sasquatch only weighs 2.2 lbs Cobalt.

I am curious what the Sasquatches thickness is though.

Definitely the WTF! It could get messy, but it would make for some great pics and memories.

Thanks man!

How does one still buy Keffeler knives?

You can email him directly to order. The process takes a while though, typically even longer than the 2 weeks we are accustomed to Busse taking.

Thanks brother. I'll definitely let you play with her on our next camping trip.

I just put it on my shipping scale and it weighs 2 lbs 4.0 oz. Downright light! ;)

Nice stuff pal. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Thanks bud, it's your fault I needed to get one of these things!

Thank you for the smooth transaction on the 1311, I really appreciate it. According to my calipers the Sasquatch is 0.296" thick.

That's true, but that was a custom build just for him. The Sasquatch is certainly a big knife, but it feels manageable.
