Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday. What's not to like with all of the food, family, football, and food! I have a big day with 3 meals to attend. I will be looking forward to lots of dressing, dark meat, my wife's spinach casserole, and pecan pie. Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving to all of you here on the board!

Connie works from 4am to 1:30pm, so I will probably go to the shop for a while. We will be going to Becky's house for dinner at 3. This is much better than usual, normally Connie has to go to work at 4:30pm, which interferes with any plans.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! My family actually got tired of running from house to house on Turkey Day; so we'll be doing Thanksgiving at my mother's on Saturday. I'll be entertaining my little girl on Thursday while Mommy works on the piling Christmas orders.

Happy Thanksgiving! We're celebrating on Saturday. My wife works retail and has to be at work at 2PM on Thanksgiving then back in the morning on Friday. The kids are coming in but my son wont be here until Friday so, Saturday it is.

Happy thanksgiving to all of you! Going to my folks house and then doing all of my Christmas shopping online Friday-Monday. Should be a nice weekend for last minute yard work too.

We did thanksgiving today. I have to work second shift tomorrow so my wife made everyone today and we had the kids and my dad. I ended up going to work tonight anyway but we had a good one. Tomorrow I'll work some overtime to pay for all that good food.

Happy Thanksgiving to all ... this year is kind of bringing out the things I am truely thankful for ... as my parents both battling cancer and my father ... who has always been the man I most looked up to is not doing well ...

but we get to spend at least this one more Thanksgiving day together and all my siblings could come so we can all be together once more with our folks ... if indeed it is the last one we share with everyone together it will be a good one ...

I'm thankful for all the years and great memories and lessons learned from both ... and thankful to have been blessed to have them as my parents.

May all of you get to spend time with those that truely matter to you this season ... and for many years to come.

And Thankful for being welcomed into the forums and met some really good people ... God Bless and wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

Working today. We did our family get together yesterday. I smoked a 15 lb bird. Did gravy with the drippings. Made mac and cheese and Cole slaw. Was delicious as always.

I'm home alone and cooking for myself. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Most of my knife work was handled with the Galley Wag. It performed perfectly.

Oh yeah, happy Thanksgiving to all!

Hope everyone enjoyed the day. Me + turkey = couch and nap...that seems to be my Thanksgiving equation!
