I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Holiday and I am hoping everyone will have a GREAT NEW YEAR to come!

Be safe.

:D Sounds like had yourself one nice long holiday, mine ended about a week ago. It was fun, I did some hunting but the only thing I killed was time.

Hey Rev - What's your gig? Most men of the cloth that I have known are not into anything that may be remotely associated with violence. Maybe I am assuming incorrectly based on your handle? Just wondering why you are potentially different and what you use your knives for.

Regardless, We are glad you're here

Well Red, I am glad you asked :)

I have been an ordained minister since 2003, for about 10 years before that, God didn't even let me own a knife.

Before that in the mid 80's to mid 90's when I was still in the world, like everyone else I had guns and all sorts of weapons. I got rid of all of that when I truly gave my life to God.

Martial arts studies, chi kung studies, weapons, etc. was one of the false idols I worshiped, along with the corporate god with the little "g". I did not value life like I do now.

A few years back God let me have a swiss army knife, from there He has allowed me to have a hunting knife and a few other things. I know my place now, thank God.

The thing now is to prepare for what is coming, for what is already here, but things are going to get MUCH worse in the next few years, that is just the way it is going to be no matter what the doctrines of man say, God's Word says something else if everyone would just read the bible for themselves and pray about what they read.

I am currently working on a book project about getting back to nature and a simple lifestyle for better health. Have a few sponsors right now, Praise God!
It is about getting back into the woods, hiking, taking simple walks, etc.
A lot of people take their health for granted. I used to for years until I became ill and God healed me. But we have to do our part to STAY healthy and change our lifestyles.

Like guns, guns are not bad, people sometimes do bad things with guns.
Guns are for self-defence and hunting. I don't have a problem killing animals to feed my family if need be. But I do have a very high regard for life.

But yes, you are right, I don't believe in violence anymore, but it would be very unwise of me not to be prepared either.

Hope this helps.
