Thanksgiving is in three days, what are you thankful for?

Thanksgiving is coming up quick, what are you guys thankful for? Personally, I'm thankful for my job as a firefighter (best job in the world), thankful my mom finally had the courage to leave her dickhead husband, and thankful for the friends I've made and things I've learned here on Bladeforums. I'll be getting off my 48 hour shift Thanksgiving morning and head straight to eat with my family. How will you spend your Turkey Day?

Good health for family and friends this year and a stable job for 16 years this month.
 
I'm thankful for my family, friends and the fact I won't be in Afghanistan to celebrate this one.
 
I'm thankful that my father is still here with us in his battle with cancer and that he is doing well.
 
Those who are not thankful for the things money can not by like your health, if healthy. I suggest a visit to your local VA Medical Center, sit in the main hall a couple of hour's, watch the people passing you. If you are still unthankful, think about your priorities in life. They could be wrong.

I am still thankful to the staff at my VA Medical Center for saving my life twice this year. 2014 started out bad for the family, and still we have not seen a rainbow.

Many hospitalizations, many health problems, many deaths of close friends, had to put our dog down, lost my 94 y/o father. But as we like to say we are still on the GRASS SIDE of the DIRT. That is a good thing.
