All you guys have a great and safe thanksgiving!

It's time to think a little on how lucky we are, and be thankful for what we have. Like the old saying; there but for the grace of God...

And be careful out there!

Thanks Jacknife,

whilst we dont celebrate it over here, I can certainly appreciate the sentiment.

In a day and age of seemingly "over entitled" people, its nice to be able to reflect with our loved ones, and give thanks for what we have.

Happy Thanksgiving to all you knifenuts and your loved ones!

As I do every year, I got up at 5am this morning to start the fire to start mesquite fire roasting the Thanksgiving turkey which I had in the refrigerator since yesterday. I place the turkey in a big pot of brine the day before then remove it in the morning, rinse it and put it on a tray for roasting out in the smoker outside. It is the best recipe for a juicy turkey IMO. Got to love a mesquite fire roasted turkey, too.

I give thanks for my job, my family and friends and my health. May y'all have a great Thanksgiving day!

Happy Thanksgiving, to everyone. Like Jackknife said it's time to reflect on how blessed we truly are. The often over-looked and taken for granted "simple things" are where you/we are likely to find our true blessings, if we will just slow down and take the time to consider them.

Have a great one!

Wishing all of you a safe and happy holiday.:thumbup:

Happy Thanksgiving to all...

I have to remind myself once in awhile to stop for a minute and put things in to perspective.

I have a great family who are all healthy, and consider myself very fortunate that I have a good job and still have my health too.

The knives are great, but without everything else, they would be of little importance

My family had a very nice day today. We celebrated Thanksgiving at the In-laws, read Psalm 111 and read a very old but appropriate prayer from the pilgrims' Book of Common Prayer.

I toted my GEC stag barlow.

Hope yours went at least as well as mine!

Happy Thanksgiving to all here at BF; we celebrated with the inlaws, ate more than we shoulda, then came back early. Very thankful that everyone is still with us.

thx - cpr
