ok, so a couple days ago i was sittin there cleaning all of my blades and i was lookin at my striders and i guess i never really looked at em that hard before because theyre ussually in the sheaths on my belt but, damn theyre awesome lookin!!!! so im thinkin about gettin a new one but cant decide which, i was thinkin either an AD or SA, then i was thinkin maybe Mick's new neck knife, then i was thinkin the TKa with the cord wrap, whadda you guys think???

oh yeah, does anybody know what the thinkness is on the new TKa with the cord wrap? im assuming the same as the g-10 model

Thanks

The thickness on the TKa is .190 I prefer thickness on all my Strider blades at 1/4 or .25
The cord wrapped TKa is an awsome looking knife though. Check out the Model HT its nice also.

Whatcha gonna use the knife for?

I have both TKa (G-10) and an HT. I was at one time debating the AD or SA blade. I've handled all the kinves mentioned so far. If you are going to use it as a neck knife, I think the AD will be fine. You might want to get one pronto since they aren't being made any more.

If you want a concealed carry knife, the TKa works well. The cord wrap version makes the handle feel a litte thicker (might just be my imagination - never measured it). I like the TKa in black G-10. the handle is flat and is more flush against my body.

HT is a great knife. It is double edged and is a little bigger than the the AD/SA. It also has spine serrations, is very well balanced knife and I like the finger guard. This is the knife I ended up getting when I was contemplating AD/SA.

Good luck in choosing,

S.
