Have you ever left home and while your out, feel for your knife in your pocket to find it's not there? And then it gives you that knifeless, sad feeling. This is exactly what I feel like right now after leaving my Spyderco Paramilitary 2 above my fireplace. Hopefully I won't need it.

Yes, and I feel naked. The only time I don't carry a knife is in gov't buildings and at the airport.

You sir need to place more knives around for that exact reason. You need one in your vehicle, one at work, in your bag or back pack, etc... Oh, and one on your key ring. :D

Ding!!! Pretty much my action right here. Not having a knife with you? I haaaaaaate that feeling.

I've done it a time or two. I just don't feel right. I've actually bought a knife (at Academy) because I forgot mine! I had been planning to buy that model anyway, so it worked out fine.

I make sure a couple of throwdowns are always in my car (and sometimes my briefcase) for the times I leave the house without one.

I did that a couple of weeks ago. Luckily, I had one on my belt. Didn't end up needing it but it still felt odd.

Only took a stockman at the bottom of my pocket today. No one hander. It felt weird. Put the Triage that lives in my center console in my pocket when I got back to my car.

That's why you always keep a knife in your vehicle for such things. This happened to me just a few days ago and I was saved by my delica in my truck.
