Sometimes I just have to sit and stare....

Beauty there. Nobody grinds a tanto like Emerson. The lines are just...there man.

I seriously wonder how often Ernie picks up one of his knives from production and just stares at it. I'm sure it happens often, especially with the Karambits.

Hell, I know I sure as hell would if I were in his shoes. I friggin' love my Karambit grinds.

People still like to complain about fit and finish but Emerson puts out the most consistent grinds and bevels in the business.

^ I agree. The contrast between the stonewash and the bevels are awesome, certainly a thing of beauty.

And on the fit and finish, the last three I've gotten (a 2013 Super Commander, and two 2014 CQC15 standoff models) the F&F were perfect, and I'm as picky as they come. Perfectly centered, early lockup, logos nice and black.

Even among my CRKs (seven of them) which are certainly fine knives, the Emersons hold their own. My three favorite knives out of the 70+ I currently have in my little collection.

OK Emerson fanatics, the call is out for grind/blade pics:

Here's one featuring primarily the stonewash, which is the best in the industry.

Some others...

The stonewash is my favorite Emerson finish by far. My two stone washed Patriot blades look awesome IMHO.

I originally started with black finished knives just because I though they looked "bad-ass" at the time, but I have gradually switched over to all stone washed finish knives except for my Desert Roadhouse (and I mainly bought that for the thicker tan scales)

Being as all my emersons are black blades, I can't just pick one up and admire the grind and finish :(

Glad I'm not the only one to do this! My mini commander gets opened just for me to stare at.
