That looks like fun!

I guess I'm the only one that sees that as some leftist editorial cartoonist making Charlton Heston and the rest of the NRA look like a bunch of gun-toting nuts. Those fags make me sick.:barf:

Maybe I need to lighten up a bit:( .

Mike

Hey...Isn't that the same way that Elvis used to "play the TV set" in his hotel rooms?.:D.:D.

I'm sure that was the intention, Mike, and the irony is what makes it really funny.

You mean Charlton Heston isn't a gun-toting nut?

:o

No, you're not the only one who found the cartoon offensive. Fukking bleeding heart liberals never miss a chance to make hunters and gun owners look like irresponsible slobs. :barf:

It's hard to tell with written word, so I'll assume you were joking.

Mike

I don't have any problem with people having the right to own and operate guns. In fact, I wish local laws were such that I had the right to own one...but I don't have such rights.

CH's behavior is frightening to me though. Disagree?

Yes, I totally disagree. I don't want to turn this into a political thread, but do you care to elaborate any? Personally, I think CH has done more than most people to keep our 2nd ammendment rights than just about anybody else. I think he is a tremendous asset to the NRA, and I will hate to see him go.

Mike

If this thread turns into a political argument we'll have to move it to the Political Arena ... which is okay, I suppose ... thread drift happens; just because I started the thread doesn't mean I own it.
