THAT Mr. HILBORN FELLA...... I TELL YA....

I jut wanted you guys to know the experience I had when opening my latest parcel up.

As some of you Know I have a Post Master in North Dakota, this Post Master goes by the name of Paul Hilborn paulhilborn , and those of you who know Paul, can immediately say just how much of a nice guy he is.
We have been waiting for a while before Paul sens my knives to me, often when I buy I get them sent to Paul - then they gather up for a while then Paul sends them on to me.

Paul has this habit of buying knives for me and adding them to the parcels, I ask him to stop - but he just keeps on being Paul! We all know just how generous Paul is, he is one hang of a decent person, and I would like to share three amazing Knives with you that he has gifted me!

First stunner... this Knife needs no introduction...

Charlie I LOVE your Waynorth Cutlery, Buffalo, NY Stamp my friend, this knife has ALL the boxes ticked - just a Class act, and a knife to treasure! Paul my friend- this alone is an amazing gift!

Second stunner... another Knife that needs no Introduction - this Bladeforums Knife will take a LOT of beating, what a gorgeous Knife, I am going to carry this and Charlies Black Jack- but they will be what I call "careful carries", after use- wiped, no keys with then in pockets etc, usually a EDC Knife- it is looked after, but if its in my pocket- it goes with everything else there too, and usually the EDC's don't get tended to so fastidiously with use as these will.
Pure Class these two- this sits just as proud next to Charlies Knife ...

When Paul and I were talking one day he asked if I had one of these Knives, I said no I didn't, so he went and put this along those other two knives and made this a Hat-trick gift set that would be hard to beat, as a on-top Bonus Paul added the Lanyard the fantastic Pocket Sheath, then put one of his awesome edges on the Knife - this is one great pocket full of EDC right here! These Bullnose's are awesome Knives!!! Paul...I feel that trying my best to express my Thanks is nowhere near enough, Thank you my friend for your friendship AND your generosity that is unequaled.

Ha!!! Thanks to all of you for the kind comments but my friend Duncan has a very very short memory. The last parcel I rec'd from the NZ post contained BOTH of Charlies Lambfoot offerings as well as Jack Blacks wonderful Lambfoot clad in beautiful Ironwood and that parcel doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of Duncan's generosity. So "what we've got here is a failure to communicate" sorry, couldn't pass on the Cool Hand Luke line

Oh Man! thank you guys, With these Knives, JUST how hard it would be if were had to get rid of all of our Knives, and pick just the one - these would be in that final row - but that choice - I hope never to have to make!
