Another BG-42 and ZDP-189 as well.
I don't really have a single steel that I'm dying to try out.
Most of the steels I have used are American in origin (154CM, D2, S30V, etc), but I don't have much experience using foreign steels. I have used AUS6 at RC 56-57 and AUS8 at RC 57-59, but I found myself re-sharpening them too often. I'm especially curious to see what Japan has to offer in stainless with about 1% carbon or more.
