Well, all is said and done here at my house for Thanksgiving 2002. I used my Millie to finish cleaning off the meat from the bone on the turkey, or what's left of it anyway.

What Spydie did you use on the poor bird for carving, deboning, etc., if at all?

I used my Spyderco Perrin Bowie to completely carve a 14 pound bird.

I didn't carve the turkey with a spydie, but I did remove the plastic leg shackle with a Merlin SE. Tried the Rescue 93mm on it, but couldn't get the blade inside enough. It was still difficult with the Merlin.

My SS Glasshart Special Endura was great for popping the leg/thigh joints!!!

I did not need a knife to carve my turkey. It was cooked perfectly and was falling apart.
