I think most knife sales and trades are sold/traded on the first day they're on the forums because a lot of them move to page 2 if they're

not sold or traded.

I sold a Kershaw green ti bump a couple weeks ago in ten minutes.....the third time around. I was really surprised it sold so quickly.

What's the shortest amount of you have ever sold or traded a knife in ? A few hours is ok, at least you sold or traded it.

I don't think I've ever seen a ray laconico go for longer than a hour and a half...

I didn't sell it/trade it, I had to send it back to the factory; it was a Spyderco Southard. I had it for 10 minutes, and I had to send it off for repair.

For selling; I had a Benchmade 806-901 in CPM-M4 steel that I got off of USN, and I had always wanted one. What the seller didn't disclose, was that the knife was serrated and I hate serrated knives. I got it in the mail, I had it for 15 minutes and I put it up on the bay. I got $100 more than I paid for it, so I was happy.

Yeah, a Laconico Blast2 sold yesterday in 1 minute. If he decides to list a knife you better be in the right place at the right time.

I have sold a couple of knives in less then 5 minutes, Pm2's go really fast or if you put a really good price on something.

Usually pretty fast though I had a JK Kephart up for 3-4 days. New and unused condition at a price under his pricing. I was shocked it didn't sell very fast.

Kershaw Tyrade 1850.
I had funds in my PP account within 7 minutes of posting and it was packaged and shipped within 30 minutes.

I was a little put off that no feedback was left for that one, but whatever.

Well, see? There ya go. I don't even know the JK Kephart name. Maybe a good thing. I'm having trouble finding things to sell so I can buy knives.

I don't mind mentioning feedback if they forget. Sort of..."If you like that knife, I'd appreciate the feedback." I have forgotten to leave feedback before, and am darned near embarrassed if someone mentions it...when I had forgotten. It is important to a seller. It can make a lot of difference in the trust issue.
