If I want to jump on one of the deals, I swear I have to live or camp here all day long. :D Gots to explain why I keep coming back to the station from patrol during the day all the time . . .

Oh yeah, and a question: I think it's safe to assume that the HI swords are working swords versus wall hangers. Any preferences on a great ~19-21 inch sword that is solid without being too heavy and can withstand the occasional metal to metal work/training?

I know what your talking about 90% of the time I dont see the DOTDs till they are all gone.... which usually seems to be about 5 minutes after they go up... x_X

The Everest Katana and Tibetan long have caught my eye, especially the Katana. Get a wood trainer to go with it and it'd make a heck of a set.

(I think I talked myself into yet another HI product)

Moblues? I feel your pain. When I was active duty I had access to a computer maybe once a week, and nowadays I have no access at all while at work.

Have faith. Your khukuri will find you. (And be sure to check the Exchange forum occasionally, in case your khukuri gets tired of waiting and finds someone else. ;) )

try e-mailing Yangdu. Tell her what you're looking for.. she might have one lying around.

That's what I did.. I wanted a BAS w/ wood handle.. and it worked, i got it.

Worse that can happen is she'll say 'sorry, nope'.

Oh, I'm well on the path to having more Kurks than sense (up to five of them in the last three months - yeehaw!). Kind of like Lay's chips . . .

Thanks for the advise and the link. I'll send her an e-mail in a bit.
