I have wasted too much time waiting for my emersons (one raven one dagger) on back order! So I cancled the order through the army surplus store that I hang out at. (it is also a museum, check it out in the omaha NE area) And today somebody had dropped off a microtech mini-socom (plain edge clip point) for 125 dollars, there is no scratches from sharpening and the lanyard is missing but the warrenty card is still there.

should I buy this?

Hmm, you can get it for about $130 at Bayou LaForche Knifeworks. But that was some months ago.

well I bought it, but now I'm worried because this is my first knife that I have bought that cost over 100 dollars. (I'm also worried about my parrents reaming me out for buying it since I had gotten fired on Monday)

Don't you know of anybody who lives within the United States? Maybe you can have it shipped there instead? Then you can probably work it out with whoever your contact there is.

I'm planning to do the same thing... look for a contact in the States who can handle the stuffs for me.

Hey, I was trying to keep that Microtech hush, hush until after I had placed my order Monday A.M. I had one heck of a time getting through to WOW last time and I really want this one. Have credit card willing to travel.
