That's not a knife... This is a knife.

As a condition of my purchase, Amy made me post pictures of my new knife. I've been holding off a little to get the right conditions for my friend to take photos, but the weather in Washington hasn't been very compliant. So... here goes!

The MOAB!!! Snakeskin handles, flat grind, and satin finish. It's a beast.

Next to it is my friend's 6 inch blade Kabar for comparison. The cutting edge is around 13.75 inches due to the choil.

Most of the handle is INFI, just a little over 0.4 inches thick. Just the way I like it.

Water effects.

More water effects.

This water show was brought to you by the Busse Combat MOAB. Thanks Garth! The Killa Zilla went into hiding soon after witnessing the raw power of the MOAB, and filed for a restraining order. Needless to say, it's currently unavailable for pictures with the MOAB.

I'd like to thank everyone at Busse Combat for this awesome hunk of INFI. It's better than bacon! Well... maybe not bacon, but it's pretty darn close.

Thanks Ace! I think Garth really did an excellent job on it, and I'm definitely proud to own it.

I just wanted to warn everyone that there is no cure for INFI addiction. I don't know what it is, but I still want more. If that's wrong, then I don't want to be right.

wow, make sure you have a good grip, and a lanyard, and kevlar leg guards when swinging that beast.

I am in Spokane. If you were anywhere near here, I would totally love to hold one of those MOAB's. It would make my FBMLE look like a pantie waist.

OOOOH, you have a Killa too! Nice.

It shall happen! Just not this winter. There's already snowstorm warning on the pass. In fact, it's already snowing... I live on the west side of the Cascades. :D

Maybe I'll make a detour when the firm does some recruiting at Gonzaga next year.

I graduated from Gonzaga Law last year. If you were looking at recruiting an attorney!

If not, just bring the infi, and I will show you a few great places to eat around here.

Last time I was on the West side of the state, I was taking the bar exam. I had to dive into a pool at the Red Lion in Bellview (I think) to save a little kid who was drowning. I had my trusty GW on me, and after, I realized that the spot I dove was only 2 feet deep. I actually have blue pool material still in the screws of the sheath. There is still a blue scuff on the sheath from it too.

Last winter we had like 100 inches of snow here in Spokane. Supposedly this winter is going to be milder.

Awesome and Massive!!

A closeup on the handle would be nice. Because it looks beautiful!

Epic score for a lurker! :D

You have joined a rarified group of people to have actually used a MOAB.

Great pics of the bottle cuts!

Love those scales. Good to see her being used. Welcome to the MUG (Moab User's Group). Mine did a great job in helping me take care of the big dead pine that hit our house/chimney. I'm in the process of getting a sheath for her, then it's on. I was amazed at what a well balanced & useful hunk o' INFI it is.

This is such an awesome blade. I don't see myself buying it anytime soon, but I would love to own it!
