I'm hoping that a certain dealer that used to own this company will have one of these models at his booth at the Chesapeake Knife show next Sunday! This is my new must have!

There's only one thing I want to know: Does it come in any nice wood handles and where can I get it?

I'm pretty sure that that is 2 things! ;)
I ordered & received the Tidioute model (I wanted the flat grind not the saber) And in my opinion the forum knife is a better slicer, the blades are ground thinner.

The Northfield comes in Cocobolo. I agree with Dave though, the Titioute has the potential to be a better slicer!

I just received mine in coffee house acrylic and i love it. Especially the wharncliffe blade.
I didn't realize the grinds were different between the tidioute and northfield.
The blades do ride a little high when closed, which makes hard use a bit more uncomfortable, but that won't discourage me from putting it through the paces.

I have to try and find a tidioute in cocobolo after i catch up from the holidaze.

I like it. The Warnie is a bit on the extreme to my eye, but that helps make the knife IMO. I'd most likely opt for the Tidoute given the above choices, though I'd most certainly go for a 440C GEC if offered.

Damn, Charlie, it must be nice to be "in" with the GEC crowd! Coco and stag are off the charts!

I am looking forward to picking up a model with autumn gold jig bone at the Chesapeake show next week, but I would like to scoop up an ebony 74 too.
