not much going on over at his forum; talked with his wife via phone- as of last week they still weren't sure about getting a table. He'd be one of the main reasons for going (at least for me)....
anybody hear anything??

I've asked a couple of times on his board, Kelt, but there's still no word.

well, i'm going anyway...last year was too much fun. Bought a nasty Ricky Fowler bad boy modified tanto fighter, way cool! gonna go a bit easier on the wallet this time; would love to spend some at Newt's table though!
what to wear, what to wear....maybe my new Barry Jones utility tanto neck knife? oh, maybe that will clash with my outfit....i just don't know...
i'll have to ask my wife.

I spoke w/ Joda (his charming daughter) yesterday & she regrets to inform me, etc... that Newt will NOT be able to swing it this time. Perhaps his absence will hasten the availability of the much-anticipated Sandbar Bowie. We'll miss him however...
If the UPS Gods are smiling, I may have a custom goodie from Newt to show you folks at the show on Friday...
Cheers,
Mike

Slightly off the subject, I have several of Newts knives and love them all. I ran into him at the SOF show and spent the better part of one morning talking with him. Hell of a great guy.
