The 1082 is a fixed blade Packrat??

Looking over the collection today, I noticed a striking similarity. I always thought the 1082 was much larger, but it is actually almost identical in size and shape to the Packrat. How am I just now finding this out?

All you could see was orange and never paid attention to what the blade looked like?
Your hat was on backwards and the sun got into your eyes?
You keep trying to fold it thinking it's just a pivot issue?
Your camera changes the orange color at different angles?

Maybe you have so many knives that you can't fit them all in the single frame of view. So, you haven't actually "seen" them together. Did they use a significantly thicker stock on the fixed than they did on the folder? I know they did with the fixed Skyline

I think it is because I have only had the 1082 a few weeks and it has spent most of that time in a sheath. I was surprised at how small it was when I got it, but never thought about the packrat at the time. The blade looks to be the same stock as the FB skyline, definitely thicker than the 1665.
