Just picked up this little guy. I couldn't find too many pictures of it so I thought I'd share. 110 for scale.

Thanks for the pics. I had it on preorder with another model that got delayed so I ended up canceling the order. I've got the matching hatchet and 119 so I'll be picking this one up sooner than later.

I love this little knife. Love it!

Thanks for the pics.

My contribution

I'm thinking of wet sanding the black coating off. Does anyone know if the handle is removable?

Wallace,

This may sound odd. And definitely not masculine. But it worked well for me. I have used lady's nail file products to convex edges for some years now.

Recently, I wanted to strip the Parkerized finish off my bolt knife. I went to the local pharmacy and snagged a package of three emery type boards. They were labeled Clean, Condition, & Polish.

I wrapped the leather handle with the blue masking tape used for wooden furniture and painting, to prevent it from getting dirty and contaminated.

I went out, built a fire, grabbed a few beers, and went to work. I was actually amazed with how well this worked. I had the blade stripped and polished in no time at all. I was looking for a specific look. So I left the fuller with some Parkerizing in it. I worked the guard and bolt pommel leaving varying degrees of coating. My thought process being, I can always sand it off. I can't sand it back on.

Overall, I was extremely pleased with the results. It has the look of a well worn, but well cared for blade.

Whether you go this route or the wet sand path the blue masking tape may help your cause.

Hope this helps ya,
LV
