THE 129 CLUB

Those are cool, I don't own one. I'm 45 miles from the Mojave Desert. Not too many places to fish except streams, Trout are fun to catch, way too many bones to eat, for me...Plus the water has to be almost freezing or they're mushy...

I do like good filet knives though...Do they still have the spoon on them?

They only made them for about a year, 1989-90, and they weren't a big hit. Essentially they are a 123 with a spoon stuck in the handle. To me they look like a poorly done home modification.

I agree, but it is unique...

very neat. never seen one. thanks for sharing with us.

So, the spoon is for gutting, not eating?

I do not have one of these, but it is cool.

The spoon is for treating yourself to some fresh roe while cleaning the fish.... yum!

Doesn't look very safe. Buck probably realized some shmuck was going to gut themself trying to use the spoon. Neat knife.

It would be handy if you were in a Japanese Prison, you get fed fish heads and rice...:confused::confused::confused::confused:

It is a cool looking knife though. I think if I were somewhere that I could go fishing that knife would come in real handy. It would save your finger from the spine when disemboweling the fish...

I fish for salmon and steelhead with that. Never crossed my mind to eat it.

Why afraid? I guess fish eggs always sounded yucky. But everyone makes Caviar sound so Rich and Famous.

Nope, not afraid...I accidentally wiped my lips after gutting a salmon...:confused::confused::confused::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Besides that, I'm not rich and famous and if that's what they do, I hope I never make it that far...:D:D
