So, the 12lb box arrived, and I know there are a bunch of you that were hoping a 12lb box of knives, meant contests for days, but alas, there was only 4.

4 Zombie knives. Pestilence Chopper, War Sword, Death Dagger, and Famine Tanto. Each one comes with a set of Black Handles, an Acheron Parasite in the built in sheath, and extra hardware.

Fresh from the factory, ready to be played for.

So, I'm working on the contests right now. I might have one up before or on Friday, give ya'll the weekend to play for one. The others will happen either late next week, or the following, I gotta go to California for a week, but I should have something up by then.

I'm thinking short, Zombie themed contests. Ya'll wanna play? :D

I'll play, what do I have to do? Create a Zombie analog? Demonstrate my Zombie killing prowess? Decapitate a boar with my BK-2?
 
i got me a Chopper. bad to the bone :) well, literally, it'll probably chop quite nicely.

the tanto is surprisingly stout. quite the winner, for that realm.

the sword is nice, but unclear to me what *I* would want it for, except a display case (design your own zombie defense case)

the sticker is probably going to prove popular with hunters needing an economical "sticker". it's good at that.

if my eyes do not deceive, it looks like these are the new sheaths, which can accept monkey patches... those zombie logo patches are made by mil spec monkey :)

and dudes, bonus parasite knife! sweet...

don't forget to check out the folder if you guys want something you can't lose, and is actually fairly stout feeling - steel liners. good lock up. yeah, made in taiwan, but good value. can afford american? buy that then :)
 
Yeah, new sheaths with the loop field on them, for patches and ichor to get stuck in, when out de-zombie-fying the neighborhood.:D

I am so excited about the upcoming contests and a chance for the blades that my netbook is being held aloft with my attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's really cool that Kabar sent those along. Almost as cool as a box full of corny T-shirts :)

I think the whole "ZK" thing is interesting: the OTT marketing, the really odd shapes but reusing existing JAB handles, the color scheme, and apparently all that comes together in some magic combination that makes people want the heck out of these things.

funny thing, those corny tshirts sold out FAST. so did the patches :>

at least two of those blade shapes are classical patterns resurrected. forget the zombie part, put black handles on them, and they're serious bizness.

they've also been bringing back other patterns, like the Mark-I - great timeless stuff.
