Hey everyone!

The 2012 knife show in Little Rock, Arkansas held this past weekend was the best one yet, IMHO. Saturday the show was incredible full of people, one could barely walk through some of the isles because of the number of people there! It was great seeing many of you there and also meeting some people that I had not previously met. The Banquet held Friday night was PACKED! The food was really good and the company was awesome, not to mention all the incredible knives that come to mind. They were giving away door prizes Friday night at the banquet and I was surprised to have my name called, I headed to the front and picked up the prize and found it to be a knife sharpener. From now on anyone who gets one of my knives will be able to receive it sharpened! ;) (seriously though, it works really quick on kitchen knives and it's easy for anyone in my family to use) Also, congrats to Lin for winning the grinder too! :D

The dinner that Jon Klein put on was phenomenal in EVERY aspect! I don't get out very often really but that being said I know good food and service when I see it and the food they served was absolutely fantastic! It was really great getting to hang out with collectors and makers alike as well. :) My hat's off to Jon for making it happen. :)

Without further adieu, here are some knife pictures my brother Caleb took of the banquet and show. Next year Caleb will take his camera to the dinner by Jon Klein on Saturday so you all can see what that was like too! Enjoy! :D

great quality photos!

I brought my camera to that show and only took like 2 pictures. I was overly excited as it was my first knife show. I got a chance to talk briefly to you Kyle, asked you some questions about fading a plunge line. It sure was a great show. I'll be going back every year from now on.

MANY THANKS to Caleb for the photos and to you for posting them. I was beginning to despair of seeing show pics. Now I'm heading back to the beginning to enjoy them all over again.

Kyle and Caleb,

Thanks for the cool photos, (memory aids for us old geezers)

What a fun show, great seeing and talking to you both.

See you at Blade, too.

Kyle has his own personal photographer along. Caleb these are great photos and covers some things I didn't get to see. Thanks for taking and posting them gentlemen. Great to finally meet you both.

Thank you VERY much.

Now get cracking on the captions, I only recognized about 80% of the people.

Thanks For the pictures Kyle and Caleb. Some great shots to show what was going on. Lots of special moments captured. I love the one of "Uncle" Al Lawrence getting the Lin Rhea hammer. I have heard about Al's hammer collection. Fitting that he would get it.

Thanks for the pics....for those of us that REALLY wished they were able to attend get a glimpse of a show that sounds like it shouldn't be missed!

Outstanding in every regard. Thank you Kyle!

Caleb: about the best indoor shots I've ever seen. Better than I could ever do. Props.

Where's Chuck Ward's room...?!

Coop

Thanks everyone! Caleb says thanks too for all the compliments on his photos!

It was a great show indeed!

Caleb didn't get any shots of Chuck Wards room this year. Sorry Coop. Also Caleb didn't have his camera with during the dinner that Jon Klein put on which we both regretted because if he had taken the camera, you all could have seen how wonderful the food looked and how great the company was. He'll bring it everywhere with him next year. :)
