I know it’s early in the year, but we haven’t had much of a winter this season. I believe we’ve only had 2 or 3 frost days so far. My Loquat has some fruits already, and the peaches are starting to flower.

After 2 hr soak in ice water.

Brine consisting of white and apple cider vinegar, sugar, mustard seeds, crushed garlic, crushed red pepper, turmeric, and cloves.

Pour the brine into the packed pint jars, leaving 1” of headspace.

Put lid and ring on, and water bath for 10 min.

7lbs of cucumbers yielded 11 pint jars of pickles. Next batch will be pickle spears.
