So I've owned a few chris reeve blades in the past. First was an umnumzaan that I really enjoyed, but I could never get used to the sharply angled lockbar that hurt my thumb from repetitive action cycles. Then I managed to borrow a Large 21 from a colleague and see how I liked it. I liked it quite a bit, but there were small things I wanted to tweak. The hollow grind would drag a bit when cutting through cardboard, the single thumb stud was occasionally a downside, and overall it was a great blade, but I wanted a little more. Then I finally got a 25 in the mail today. All I can say is Wow, I understand all the hype now. Chris Reeve knocked it out of the park with this baby, the single, solitary, only thing I prefer on the 21 versus the 25 is the 21 has better jimping to me. I love the lockup, the flat grind, the thicker feel, the more stout action, and definitely the finger choils and double thumb stud.
