Yes it's the Fourth of July. But I'm referring to the bk4. It actually arrived yesterday. Big thanks to Tate @ coyleoutdoors. Well packaged with a handwritten thank you note and a couple goodies thrown in. I will be doing business with him again. (Been eyeing that bk 11 sheath. Looks killer.)

I got home from work and my wife never said anything to me about getting a package. I knew with the holiday it might take longer, but I was hoping to spend some time with the new blades this weekend. But then I spotted it. I used the new 15 to open the package. My wife could hardly wait! (Sarcasm font) I opened it up and like most it is smaller than you expect. I think when you look at a blade design like that you automatically think of large blades. I think the size is great though. It's very controllable and light enough to do fine work without having to manhandle it. I was worried about the angle of the handle in the pictures. It is more of a natural feel than I thought it would be. Should work awesome as a draw knife. My wife asked me " What do you need this one for?". How do you properly answer that? I don't get her purse and shoe thing, she doesn't get the knife thing. Must be the yin-yang thing.

Have a good and safe Fourth of July.

Congrats on the steel! Great Blade man, get out and use it and you'll like it even more.
Great choice of dealer too, can't go wrong there!

Already got bit. Note to self, keep thumbs away from sharp blades. Usual fourth stuff today then trail maintenance tomorrow. Maybe I can talk the wife into trying them out. She got her first gun a couple Christmas's ago. There's always a chance. She won't let me use her gun though, maybe I should think this out. Ha!

I love the wife sarcasm stuff that you mentioned. Seems to be common around here. Let's hope they never figure it all out and start a Beckerhead widows group😜.
Oh the horror!

"Keep thumbs away". Did u get bit?
Congrats on the new blade. It's my favorite big Becker.

She actually does more of my things than when we first met. It's not that she is opposed as much as she grew up different than I did. Short list of stuff- camping, shooting, kayak fishing, nascar, and hiking. Bit of a tomboy in denial I think. She's a keeper.

Good to hear your new knife got here in time to use this weekend. Enjoy!

To answer her question just say it's an investment - they're no longer in production so you can save it for 20 years and sell it (conveniently forget to do that though lol)

I've tried that in the past. She's onto my game. Seriously though, I think that for non-users they don't understand the difference in blade design and uses. It just cuts things. She does like a warm fire and good food so I don't get too much grief on how I make that happen.

Congrats on your 4 on the 4th!

Congrats on the new Machax!
It's like an extention of your hand when swinging it.
Such a great tool!

My wifes shoe rack has gotten larger...
She has a few more purses hanging up too. Lol
We don't give each other too much of a hard time anymore.

Congrats on the new Steel! The BK-4 is an awesome blade, just takes a little practice to get used to.
I too thought it was a lot smaller than I expected when I got my first Machax. But it sure does handle like a lot larger knife once you get the swing of it!

And thank you for the business, BTW! Much Appreciated.

Thank you for buying your Machax..... Give it a good test run, get your snap cut down, think through the target and she will perform numerous tricks for you..... Give us a review when you get some dirt time with her......
