  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I ordered my 4 about a week ago and sent it directly over to the almighty Clich to see what magic he could work. And here are the results.....

Clich did a kick ass job on the fisk btw. He said he hit some issues and noticed an inch and a half section of the manufactures grind that had some serious issues, where the edge was rolled over, but he cleared that up apparently because this thing is probably one of the sharpest blades Ive ever owned. Im so stoked to finally have a Machax in my hands and cant wait to really get this out and about and really let the wood fly !! I plan on getting some kydex for her too in the near future as well as some handles too. Im thinkin maybe some wood scales with a real dark stain. Anyways enjoy, and a huge thanks to Clich. Your the man !!!

That is the bees knees, looks like a barb-wire border between the flat and the bevel! Nice work on the clichasaurus' part!

Glad to hear you got it and like it. Yeh it had a pretty nasty section of ripples at the recurve. Small but there and were nasty enough to not take an edge easily. I push cut serpentines through newspaper with the blade. She is SCARY sharp. Enjoy it!

Thanks Clich, you my friend did a kick ass job as usual. Couldn't be happier. I feel like a proud papa, just wanna carry it around town and show people hahaha. Might scare the sheeple just a bit though.

I feel the same way. I let mine ride on the side of my edc pack and wish I could leave it there always. But everyone is so skiddish about big knives. They don't even bother looking at the 9mm on my hip :D

I really dig that deep forged look. If I encounter any surface rust later down the road, what's the beat way to remove it.... I'm curious to see how it holds up being so close to the beach. I've applied a liberal amount of oil for the time being til it gets used

Normal rust can be removed with either a Scotch Britt pad or sandpaper. However both will remove some blue. I'd say grab a bottle of permablue and keep it om hand for the off chance you need to touch it up. And in that case blue the whole knife and sand it lightly with 220.
