So I entered into the710 GAW not expecting to win, he sends me a pm with a link to a video and says guess who one the GAW?? I watch the video on my phone in the wife's car, he draws out #13 and it took a loooong minute before I realized that's ME !! I never win these things, and didn't expect to on this one... Its gots to be the Lucky13 that pulled me through...
Today I picked up the sheath and I have to say WOW !! the quality is there no doubt, the710 holds nothing back when it comes to detail, every point on the sheath has been addressed... the leather seams to have been hot waxed and is spot on... all edges have been burnished both on the leather and the kydex where it appears fused together to a high gloss.. I tried to pick it apart like I was some quality control guy and couldn't find any disappointments at all....
I don't have any custom sheaths other then an old izula one I've had for a loooong time so there's really nothing to compare it to, but I will say its by far the best sheath I have bar-none..
enough gibberish, onto the pics.... I was going to do this thread tomorrow to show appreciation of such an awesome GAW, but I'll be slammed with work tomorrow and the710 needs to be recognized right now before I get swamped..
Did I mention he also sent me a shirt, decals and some business cards?? Sweet deal man thanks !!! I think this may actually push me to use my BK10, someday...
ETA: I may be a little biased as I won this sheath and food always tastes better when its free as well but, it really is very well constructed..
