Several years ago I bought a skinning knife from Richard J. I love the knife, it's sharper and it holds it's edge better than any other knife I have ever used but I couldn't get the most of it without a good sheath.

It's a uniquely shaped blade and try as I might, I couldn't make anything work.
Then I met Julio aka The 710.
Julio didn't hesitate when I asked him to make a sheath. He simply asked what I wanted and what I was using it for. I told him I just wanted something simple and comfortable that I could wear all day when hunting, fishing or hiking. What he came up with was perfect. He even remembered that I am left handed.
He sent me this picture asking if it would work. Ummm, YEAH. That will work really well. Not only is it better than expected, he added a drop to it making it really comfortable sitting in my boat. I've been carrying this for a couple of weeks now and although the knife is somewhat heavy and not exactly small I hardly notice it's on my belt.

If you ever need a quality sheath for just about anything you wish to carry, don't hesitate. Talk to Julio.

This setup is going to get a lot of use and knowing me and the environment I live in, a ton of abuse.

Thanks for the review, Mac! Much appreciated!!

I'm still carrying this every day. I don't even notice it and it isn't exactly a lightweight knife. I'm going to love it when I'm out stalking deer and elk.

Great sheath ya got there. I've got one of his sheaths for my bk15 and it is Perfect. I may look into a few more this year as I have a few knives that need some better sheaths.

I bought a new wallet a couple weeks ago, one with a few card slots and a money clip for essentials only. Found this in the old one and a place to put it.
