Well I guess the rules were when I got up. It is like 6:47 am right now nd made themistake of opening my eyes. I need to get back to sleep.

In a few moments I will notify the winner of the FHM. I congratulate him publicly if he chooses to revealk himself in this thread. In my opnion this guy deserves the Bali on all counts. There were a lot of creative people, a lot of tear jerkers, but I set the 'rules' for the contest before I started, and when I received the 'winning entry' I was ready to can the contest, but he said that it woudl be more funlo throw the contest back in the bag to see if someone else can win it. Hey hoe more imrpessed coudl I be.

Congratulations again. and thnaks for those who played. THank you to ANonoman, Clay, and Sabo for their contributions to make this a very memorable event and to everyone Merry Xmas.

Yay!! I'm am the winner!! I've been thinking about this all day and was having trouble deciding whether to gloat or to be a gracious winner. Fortunately (or not) my karma overwhelmed me and I've decided to be a gracious winner. I would like to thank Snipe for the bali, Clay for the sheath, and AnonoMan for the shoulder rig, and Sabo for the wristband. I can't wait to see what it looks like and I really can't wait until I can strap that bad boy on. Now all I need is a full length mirror so I can see how intimidating my opening look from the shoulder rig.

I would also like to thank all the other contestants for participating. I would love to see everyone's entries posted on a web site so we can all get a good laugh (or cry from what I've heard).

Just curious... what were the right answers? I guessed kamagong wood for the insert and bowie for the blade.
 
I was ACTUALLY surprised some poeple noted a DOUBLE EDGED bowie.. and yes.. the handle insert is 'white' so ivory micarta when I am feelign cheap or Ivory when I am not
