Ethan Becker EDCs a phat bob. Moose EDCs a phat bob. OMG BRL EDCs a phat bob! Who's gonna argue with them awesome fellas?

The KA-BAR Phat Bob folder. Designed by Bob Dozier. Comes in two flavors, regular and extra spicy. I've got the green micarta one and I absolutely love it. It's a nice meaty folder for someone with big hands. An incredibly solid liner lock, and a wicked slicer.

Downsides are the thumb ramp, which doesn't allow access to the stud very well, and the unused cutout for moving the clip. The micarta edges and points are mighty edgy and pointy, as well.

i've heard high praise of the phatbob. im not totally convinced yet, but its inexpensive enough that i may take the plunge.

I got to handle a PB a couple of days ago and was surprised at how light it was. Just looking at it, you'd think it would be a load in your pocket. Not so. I must have one.
 
How can you have a Phat Bob thread without a picture of the most feared beard in the biz?

My 5 o'clock shadow, actually retracted in, the closer Bob's beard got to me. If he was one step closer, it would have looked like a freshly shorn face, I had. :D
There is a bubble of EPIC that travels around Bob's beard. It wipes out CC magnastrips, and closes down cellular signal.

Why do you bastards keep tempting me to buy more knives!!! Now I have to get one and my wife is going to kill me!!! Looks like I'll die happy though...

oh, hey, i have quite a list of must own knives, if you have the money. oh, gosh no, not MINE, but i am quite the influence. always researching the latest trends. right now i've got my nose on a number of the best of the last year or so. oh my yes.

Apparently Ken at Knives and More in OKC talked to the KA-BAR president and got this limited run of knives made. Ken mentioned that he's seen people buy them a dozen at a time, heh (Bladite?). He has been meaning to put some up on BF but has been too busy with his store... a good problem to have! Immediately went to look to see if he had the number I wanted when I called; nice guy. Very excited to get this; nice to have the vanilla PB as my backup.
