Hey all, here we have a dedicated folder thread.(with John's approval of course) :)
It doesn't matter what your taste is, modern to traditional, users to safe queens, celluloid, delrin, bone, stag or wood, flippers or thumb studs, liner locks, frame locks, lock backs, levers or friction, G10, steel or titanium, bearings or washers, if you got 'em, if you like 'em, then here is the place to post 'em up and discuss 'em.

I'm more into traditionals now days so I'll start with some of my single blades to get this started.(Opinels will be posted later)
(I've really gotten into single blades lately)
I also much prefer a knife that has been broken in already. (that way I don't feel any trepidation about carrying or using them)

Top to bottom is..
An old shell handled Imperial.(missing the black paint on the jigging)
A Victorinox Bakers Knife with the thinnest alox scales you'll ever see and a wicked serrated hook blade.(used for scoring the top of loaves and cutting off chunks of dough iirc)
A newer CV Case Sod Buster Jr in Chestnut bone.(the best looking SB IMO and my newest knife)
A GEC 77 Stag Jack (2015 BF Traditional Forum Knife)
A GEC 73 Scout in Bocote.
A Svord Peasant knife.(the smaller one)
A Western liner lock folder.
An old German lever lock that I found in an antique store and Glennbad rebuilt with bone scales for me.
My JK Semi Wharnie Friction Folder XL.
And the massive USA Schrade 125OT.

OK, new, or old favorites lets see 'em.

I am way into folders, as some of you know. I have just about every ZT folder made, including a good deal of the LE's (although I typically only get one of each design, not needing to get one of every variation etc.)

I also love traditional old pocket knives, so I have a few old slip joints, like Robeson etc., and a number of new GEC designs, and I have all of the BF Traditional knives back to 2009.

I have the first JK Ti Folder that was sold - he made one for himself and one for his daughter, and then sold me production #1.

So - pictures -

I don't have anything exciting, but I'll get some pictures up hopefully tomorrow while I'm heat treating.

Had a little time, so posting some now.

A few of my Bucks

Schrade, Case, and a couple of glennbad custom Camillus

Misc favorites

More Bucks

I`ll try to post more tomorrow.

I still have the bottom one, it's one of three liner locks I've ever made.

I've been working out a design in my head for another linerlock design, getting closer to building a prototype.

nice idea for a thread, Myke, I've really thinned down in the last few years but folders were where I started and I doubt they'll ever be far from me (right next to a JK knife :)

let's see what I've got here, my tastes have always been all over the place and I think that's well reflected in the group that still remain, although it'd be hard to tell my first real serious knife addiction was high quality modern folders lol

Guess I should start with the JK broken ROugue (got it for beating the pants off a few mugs in fantasy Football last year)

I've started to rescale a few scharde stockmans here and there and turn them into two blade knife, it's a pattern I've come to like

I did this case sodbuster first

Case texas Jack (gift from my wife)

Saks are never to far away either, although I've let most fo the alox brood go including this one :(

this kershaw leek was my very first high quality knife, still have it ina box in the bedroom as a back up

I did my best with this big fella wenger

Modified opinel N9 (my mykle m himself)

I still have this Buck I receievd a s a gift from John at the Gathering I was fortunate to attend

This GEC 68 goes in the knives IO'm still sorry I had to let go catagory

I like little keychain thgins to, every set of keys we own ahs some sort atatched, this is the one atatched to my main keys

German type sak I got from this forum as well I carry it when I'm running

I have collected quite a few )not so expensive but odd or in some way inetersting to me) knives as well

I like the equal end (real bone)

and developed quite a robeson fixation, this is the one i have left, a tl 20 (another gift from here on the forum)

think thats all I have pictures of right now,

thansk for the eye candy thread Myke!

I am definitely more of a folder guy. Much easier to carry folders in this area and not attract attention.

This one belonged to my FIL. He passed a few weeks ago. He was a machinist. It was in his tool chest. I don't really recall him carrying a knife on a regular basis. This one has seen a lot of use, but obviously it has special meaning to me now.

This one gets a lot of pocket time. I got in trade for some knife work I did. It's a wicked cutter.

Here's a pair of last years forum knife. Made by Canal Street Cutlery, which closed their doors very shortly after finishing these up.

Here's a neat old Camillus Whittler...

And last for now, A pair of Schrade 804 bone handle whittlers

Sorry to hear about your father in law. I've got two of your modified TL-29's in my photos, as well as a Camco Barlow. Those, along with the engraved Buck 112 I got from wolfman-12, are only carried on special occasions.

I still need to post photos of my Buck Custom Shop knives, 3 110's, a 501, and a 503.

Nice knives, Glenn - and having your father in law's knife is very cool.

I have my father in law's knife; my mother in law gave it to me a while before she passed away. I never had the honor of meeting Ed, but he was good to his family and died way too young.

The knife I have is a military Camillus from the mid 60s.

Thanks for the pictures, gents - I never knew Jeff was a William Henry collector - since he never brings them to any gatherings. Nice stuff, all!

Thanks, guys...

Here's an excellent old Schrade in peachseed bone. It's called a wharncliffe pattern, but doesn't have a wharncliffe blade.

Here's a soddie mod I did or someone in Snakewood.

Imperial made these. They are the shell handle construction, and the style is called Tu-tone. I have a bunch of various patterns in this style. They remind me of the older cars of the 50's.

A great old Renown.

And a nice TL-29 mod that I did in interior Ram's Horn.

My Benchmade Mini-Grip. I carry that thing every day, regardless of whatever other knife I might have on me. The Pearl whittler is an old Schrade Cut Co.
