Shop Details:
1095 High Carbon Spring Steel. Steel is Heat Hardened & quenched in oil. Heat Tempered @ 500 degrees for 2 hours, and letting it air cool.

Measurements:
Total Length = 26”
Blade Length = 20“
Blade Width = 1 3/4“
Blade Thickness = 3/16“
Handle Length = 6“
Handle Width = 1 1/8“
Weight = 2.4 lbs
Handle: Burnt Osage. Scales attached with hidden pins and gorilla glued.

Wow, beautiful! I have long loved the kopesh lines and been disappointed that searches only brought up junky wall hangers. This one looks like it is fit to go forth and conquer.

that is a great idea! I haven't ever seen anyone attempt a modern one in steel. You did a good job on that, too. Looks like it has nice fit and finish.
how does it feel when you move it?

Thanks Kevin. It does feel good but is a bit front heavy. I would definitely go into battle with it.
