I'm working on pricing right now, but I would like this thread to serve as a measure for customer demand for this knife here at BladeForums...I might be able to arrange a special version of the first 100 knives with a laser etched logo of Sharper Instinct and a discount on my knife throwing video (in production soon) which will feature the Apache Throwing Knife.

Right now, it looks like the knife would be made from 5160, with Busse's thermo-nuclear

heat treating and toughness factor.

I'm very interested. But like always, price determines all my knife purchases. I know Jerry is busy and if would be long enough to produce these knives to let me start saving the paychecks, so I would be very interested in one. Thanks

 
Depending on price and delivery time, interested in several. Delivery time being, at this point, more important than price, as all his stuff is reasonable, in my opinion. NEED throwers!

UPDATE!!!

The Apache Combat Throwing Knife will have an approximate MSRP of $124.99, but will probably hit the street around $99.95.

What's GREAT about this knife is that it is a completely functional combat and utility knife with a sharp cutting edge which will stay sharp in the field. Chopping, prying, and slicing capabilities will abound.

It will NOT be coated, so it will require a little care (e.g. WD-40 when not in use) like any 5160 knife requires.

An optional kydex sheath with a special attachment feature enabling multiple sheaths to be daisychained will be available for $37.00. This will allow two or more Apache's to be fanned on the belt or harness.

I also "plan" to include the video for FREE for the first 100 knives, though this is not in stone yet.

I need to order these knives in lots of 300, so your posts here are key to determining the outcome of the project idea. I am also strongly considering the possibility of making the knife available to dealers, so if you are a dealer who is interested, contact me via e-mail or phone.
