As like many others the newly found BK20 arrived last week. Well my collection of BK knives weren't too sure about this "new" one so they send out the pretorian guard to check things out.

Upon inspection of the new arrival the pretorian guard learned it was the long lost Prince! He has finally found his way.

He was quickly brought before the royal family.

Where everyone came out to see and meet the Prince.

The King was ecstatic and he rejoiced and announced to the royal family.
"The Price is home!"

The royal family celebrated the arrival of The Prince!

And all was well in the kingdom.... until... the Prince felt the need to project his power,

and chopped the King in half. lol Sorry, couldn't resist. Enjoy the new steel.

Congrats on the new knife! I loved the story and the photos. These BK20s are really interesting me, especially since this type of knife wasn't even on my radar.

Nice Nix!
Can you tell us a bit about the green handled? Looks like a 9 ground into a kukri? Very interesting - especially if it would work on a 20...
Call it a mini-21 with 1/4 inch stock

I'll just assume you're drunk on bourbon... ;)

Now this is my kind of story time! Nice looking family you got there.

Thanks bud!

It actually feels great in hand! Pulling from the cardboard sleeve it felt like I was pulling out a small sword. Very sweet knife.

It's a cam 9 blank that I ground out with lots of help from Vic. It's actually close to .250". I took things from all the bk knives I liked and put it into this one blade.

Oh I don't need to be drinking to be a donkey. I have been amused by the loyalty shown to the BK9 since I've joined the forum. Not that the 9 doesn't deserve it. I don't own one and can't comment from experience, but I trust it's loyal following is well earned. It's just things like " You can't not own a 9" and the way you presented your post are very entertaining to read. I am enjoying all the discussion on 9vs 20 and couldn't resist stirring the pot. I ordered the BK20 because it was too good a deal to pass up.

Not to derail the BK20 thread, but WOW - Really like that green handled custom-9. Very nice job.
I hope the Nix edition makes it to production some day!

Oh I know it's all in good fun. The 9 is a beast as you can see I've got a couple of them. But I prefer the company of a 5. Though I can't wait to get out to test the 20.

It's pretty sweet. Mostly to look at now. She needs, imho, a secondary bevel put on or a higher edge grind to be useful. I highly doubt they'd want to make this thing.
