A couple ASH-1s arrived in today's mail. Black with magnum black/tan G10 and desert olive with standard black canvas.

That beast is about twice the weight of a similarly configured Hell Razor:

They're real nice knives you got there. Congrats!

Thanks for posting that comparison - now I wish I had got one to match my HR as well!

Maybe just one more...

I like that DO coating more each time I see it..maybe I have room for one more on the CC...nice blades:thumbup:

Great looking knives, thanks for the pic!

But man these CG's are thick. I really miss my HR.

Yea, I got my desert olive and tan one the other day, and I was thinking the same thing. This thing would be a great (emphasis on great) with a more reasonable thickness. Yes, I could buy the LE but 500 bucks for a beater is more than I can stomach. I love the birds beak grip, it takes about half an inch or so of wasted grip away. I love my HR's but I also wish that the extra fat at the pommel end could be trimmed.

Nice looking Blades there :thumbup::D

Any chance for a spine shot of the ASHs to compaire the mag to the reg handles?

Thanks

I sort of did a spine shot from the rear:

You now what I like about the mags on these? They remind me a lot of the handle slabs on the WWII John Ek's. I collected the old authentic Ek's a little while before finding Busse and the slabs always appealed to me. I sort of have Jerry and Ek categorized in a similar type. Both patriotic small businessmen who want the fighting men to have a good blade when the SHTF. I like to think of Jerry as the modern equivalent to Ek.

Nice combo John, my favorite so far. :thumbup:

I have to agree with Ken44. As much as I love the CGASH-1's, I like my Hellrazor just a little bit more. I loved the ASH-1 SE, and never should've let it go. I didn't realize how thick and heavy the CG's would be. Can't wait for the LE's though. Those will be sweeeet!

Obligatory Busse content.
